My Agatha Raisin Obsession

Well, not quite but it looks like it over there on the right side of the screen doesn't it?

Who is Agatha Raisin you ask? Why, she is currently a private detective in the Cotswold's of England! MC Beaton has written 40 + English Cozy mystery novels. One of her series stars my beloved Agatha Raisin. Agatha Raisin is a middle aged woman, who is trying to find her second career or retire...it is never really clear :)

Simply written, effective mysteries that make you want to read the next one right away to find out what happens to the characters. Just when the series plot starts to get a bit stale, out come some other colorful characters and the background story twists! I can't wait for the next one...I know there has to be as there is a cliffhanger in the last one. But since I finally got to the newest out there-now I have to wait. This type of waiting is worse than when I was just waiting for books to come through from interlibrary loan. So now what to do...?

I am debating starting her other big series. I don't know that I want to love another set of characters yet but I might just have to do that. For the time being, I am working through some other books that I picked up from the library but I can't seem to find the groove that I was in with Agatha Raisin.
